Rabbi Mendel Shmotkin serves as the Executive Vice President for Lubavitch of Wisconsin. With 20+ institutions, 80 programs, and over 200 employees, Lubavitch has blossomed into Wisconsin's largest Jewish educational and outreach organization. 

Rabbi Shmotkin co-founded Yeshivas Menachem in Detroit in 1995. He moved to Milwaukee as a Shaliach of the Rebbe in 1997 and founded the Beis Hamidrash – The House of Study Lubavitch Adult Education Program. He also co-founded the Milwaukee Community Cheder (1997), The Shul in Bayside (2002), Bader Hillel High School (2012), and Chabad Lubavitch Torah Center in Glendale (2014). Rabbi Mendel was instrumental in the assumption of responsibilities for Bader Hillel Academy in 2004. He teaches numerous one-on-one classes, Lunch-and-learns, couples classes, and group classes. His college accredited courses "The Jewish Learning Institute" have attracted thousands over the last eighteen years. 

Rabbi Mendel lives with his Devorkie and ten children in Glendale.
